Meeting with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic

On January 8, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic Lubomir Frebort.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed the current issues on the mutual agenda, as well as the preparations for holding bilateral events in the near future.

The parties considered opportunities for active promotion of economic diplomacy emphasizing on the realization of previously reached agreements on the implementation of joint projects in a number of areas from mechanical engineering to alternative energy.

An exchange of views also took place on the prospects for cooperation in the fields of labor migration, increasing cultural, humanitarian and tourist exchanges.
