Delegation of Uzbekistan participated in the Non-Aligned Movement Ministerial Meeting
The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloyev took part in the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Kampala, Uganda.
Delegations from more than 100 states, including at the level of foreign ministers and their deputies, attended the event.
During the meeting, the draft agenda and documents to be submitted for the consideration at the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement were reviewed and approved.
The head of the Uzbekistan delegation in his speech emphasized the need to organize close cooperation within the framework of the Movement for the development of international transport networks and infrastructures, improvement of economic and financial systems. The importance of mobilizing efforts to develop initiatives for the peaceful resolution of conflicts, strengthening preparedness for natural disasters and emergencies, combating climate change and protecting the environment was noted.
The event participants also exchanged views on current aspects of the international agenda.
