The First Deputy Foreign Minister welcomed the Ambassador of Japan

On February 8, 2023, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Takashi Hatori.

The parties discussed practical aspects of Uzbekistan-Japanese cooperation in the political, trade, economic, education, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as deepening economic diplomacy.

The importance of bilateral efforts to find new ways and opportunities for developing trade, increasing exports, and investment cooperation were highlighted. The Ambassador announced the growing interest of partners in Uzbekistan.

Minister Sidikov and Ambassador Hatori underscored the significance of attracting Japanese experts and exchanging experience in training personnel for industries in Uzbekistan.
