Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the UN Assistant Secretary General

On August 17, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations Miroslav Jenča.  

It was noted that Uzbekistan appreciates the UN’s continued support of the comprehensive reform agenda to create most favorable conditions for the people of Uzbekistan, achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, promote good neighborhood and peace all across the world.

Bakhtiyor Saidov also congratulated Kaha Imnadze on his appointment as the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative and Head of the Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia and wished him success in his new endeavors.
