MFA of Uzbekistan hosted the head of the EU Delegation

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov welcomed the Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan Charlotte Adriaen.

The parties discussed cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, including the bilateral and multilateral events aimed at strengthening interconnectedness and sustainable development.

As noted, it is important to use the capacity of joint interaction bodies, including organizing their next meetings in 2023.

The sides emphasized the significance of widely implementation of joint projects under the EU Strategy for Central Asia in such areas as digitalization, green economy, energy, environment and climate change.

They also exchanged views on the preparation and holding of upcoming events at various levels.
