On June 22, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election observation mission Ursula Gacek.

The parties discussed the participation of the ODIHR observation mission at the upcoming presidential elections.
