Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan met with Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Afghanistan

On November 16, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Afghanistan and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Roza Otunbayeva. The parties exchanged views on priority areas of interaction between Uzbekistan and UNAMA on the provision of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, restoration of the national economy and the implementation of various infrastructure projects in this country, as well as the initiatives put forward in the Afghan direction.
