Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan

On February 7, 2023, Acting Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Asein Isayev, who arrived in our country to participate in the international round table "Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan: new prospects for strategic partnership".

Agenda of the meeting included the discussion of the joint measures for the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Kyrgyz Republic on January 26-27, as well as the schedule, organizational and substantive aspects of the joint events between the parliaments, governments and regions of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan for 2023.

Special attention is paid to the expansion of ties in the fields of culture and education. The issues of a number of events held as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyz Republic diplomatic relations, including the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan, etc. were discussed.
