Acting Foreign Minister met with the newly-appointed Ambassador of Pakistan

On March 13, 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ahmed Farooq.

During the meeting, the parties considered the proposals for further development of Uzbekistan-Pakistan political dialogue, strengthening of trade, economic and transport communications ties as well as interregional, cultural and humanitarian exchanges. They also discussed the schedule and organizational aspects of the upcoming events in bilateral and multilateral formats.
