Entry procedure to certain countries, in which the facilitated procedure of entrance for citizens of Uzbekistan is set up
In accordance with the bilateral agreements visa-free regime is set with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia (up to 1 year), Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan (up to 60 days).
Uzbek citizens who travel to these countries do not need entry visas.
There is a simplified procedure for issuing visas to citizens of Uzbekistan, arriving in Malaysia on private business and as tourists (up to 30 days). Visas are issued just as arriving at the airport without requiring invitations and charge.
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who are permanent residents of the US or Canada (the owners of Green Card and Permanent Resident Card, respectively) can make business and tourist travel to Mexico without a visa if the duration of the trip does not exceed 6 months.
At the checkpoint at the entrance to Mexico, they fill only FMTTV form and submit a valid passport and permanent resident card of Canada or USA.
With the Decision of the Government of Thailand on April 23, 2010 Uzbekistan is included in the list of countries whose citizens the entry visa to Thailand are made in the international points of entry to Thailand (all 24 airports and border crossing points) directly on their arrival in Thailand.
To obtain a visa at the airport citizens must follow some conditions. These conditions are:
- Purpose of the trip must be a tourism;
- The applicant must prove its financial capability (about 310 USD per person or 620 USD per family);
- Fill in the form of the established sample and pay a fee about 31 USD.
Visa is issued up to 15 days. The visa issued at the airport cannot be extended except in cases of emergency (illness and etc.).
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Turkey №2007/12441 dated 19.06.2007 Turkish side has unilaterally abolished the visa regime for citizens of Uzbekistan coming to Turkey for touristic purposes up to 30 days.
While entering without a visa, Uzbek citizens must have a means in the amount of 30 USD per each day of their stay in Turkey and at the entrance citizens must inform the Turkish border authorities of the purpose of entry and the place of their stay in Turkey.
Visa-free entry procedure does not apply to drivers of heavy trucks and buses and stateless persons, documented travel documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The procedure entered into force on 1 August 2007.
Simplification of the visa regime for diplomatic passports
Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, South Korea, Brazil, China, Singapore and Vietnam established a visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic passports for a period of 30 to 90 days.
Accredited staff of diplomatic missions and international organizations have the right to remain in the territories of the Parties without visa for the whole period of work.
With Romania and Slovakia established a visa-free regime also for the holders of service passports up to 90 days.
