Meeting with the delegation led by the Head of the Service of the General Directorate of International Relations and Strategy of the Ministry of the Armed Forces of France

On October 11, 2024, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the delegation led by the Head of the Service Europe, North America and Multilateral Actions of the General Directorate of International Relations and Strategy of the Ministry of the Armed Forces of France Alexandre Escorcia.

An exchange of views took place on the current situation in Afghanistan, as well as the search for ways to resolve the Afghan crisis.

The parties agreed on the need to coordinate efforts in such areas as strengthening borders, combating terrorism and drug trafficking, as well as arms smuggling, etc.

A. Escorcia noted the important role of Uzbekistan in ensuring regional stability and security. He expressed hope for the continuation of fruitful cooperation in the future.
