Event In Brussels Presents Uzbek Tourist Potential For Visitors In Europe

The presentation dedicated to the tourist potential of Uzbekistan took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Brussels in Belgium. The event saw the presentation of information o­n the development of tourist sphere of Uzbekistan for over the years of national sovereignty. The attendees of the presentation have been told in detail about the historical and architectural places to see in Uzbekistan, popular tourist destinations in the country, as well as the activity of the National Air Company “Uzbekistan Airways”.

The video footage “Welcome to Uzbekistan” o­n the tourist potential of Uzbekistan has allowed the participants of the presentation to see and appreciate the beauty of the cities and ancients monuments of the country.

“Uzbekistan belongs to the group of countries, which are more actively reaching out to the world and European tourist markets with their unique tourist products,” – Bea Suis, the director of the Belgian tourist company “Vitamin Travel”, has said while speaking to the Information Agency “Jahon”, “such cities as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, which are nearly 3,000 years old, particularly attract the tourists from Europe”.

“Our company has been representing the tourist routes in Uzbekistan for more than ten years now,” – Ben Maasman, the head of the Dutch tourist company, has said.

“I have been to Uzbekistan several times, where I always have a heartfelt welcome by the magnanimous and hospitable Uzbek people,” – he added.

According to him, the interest of the Dutch tourists in Uzbekistan has been o­n the rise year to year. They are now traveling to Uzbekistan in scores. At the same, the measures now taken in Uzbekistan in promoting the sphere are positively affecting such trend.
