The negotiations focused on the expansion of relations between the two countries in the field of healthcare, including personnel training and implementation of joint projects.

The sides noted that the Uzbek-Turkish cooperation was developing successfully in all areas, including the field of healthcare.

“We are satisfied with the strengthening cooperation between our states,” Recep Akdag said. “During this visit we saw that the system of healthcare of Uzbekistan is developing successfully thanks to wide-scale reforms.”

The members of the Turkish delegation visited the bone marrow transplantation center under the Tashkent scientific research hematology and blood transfusion institute.
