A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part at the international Tokyo Conference, which focused on a sustainable development strategy of Afghanistan.

Representatives of the donor and neighboring countries, the UN and other relevant international organisations discussed the issues of coordinating economic aid to Afghanistan and regional cooperation.

The delegation of Uzbekistan also held several bilateral meetings, in which specific issues of mutual interest were addressed.
