On 4-6 June 2012 the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which took part in the 6th “Republic of Korea – Central Asia” Cooperation Forum, held meetings and negotiations with the Minister for trade Bark Taeho, Hanjin Group and Korean Air chairman Cho Yangho, President & CEO of the Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) Choo Kangsoo, chairman of Shindong Resources Kim Yong-gu, President-Publisher of the Korea Times Park Moo-jong.

Prospective directions of developing bilateral relations, enhancing Uzbek-Korean cooperation with new longterm projects in various spheres were discussed during the meetings.

The delegation of Uzbekistan was received by the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak and the Prime Minister Kim Hwang-sik.
