On 11 July 2012 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation of PetroVietnam (The Socialist Republic of Vietnam), led by its president and CEO Do Van Hau.

The practical issues of cooperation between the Uzbek side and PetroVietnam in oil and gas production were discussed during the talks.

The PetroVietnam delegation briefed the Uzbek side on realization of joint projects in Uzbekistan.

The parties exchanged views on prospects of enhancing interaction in light of a mutual interest in further development of Uzbek-Vietnamese relations.

Ambassador of Vietnam Le Manh Luan attended the meeting.
