On 14 September 2012 Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Heydemaria Gürer, chief of department of the Federal ministry for european and international affairs of the Republic of Austria, who is attending the international conference “On the role and importance of small business and private entrepreneurship in the implementation of socio-economic policy in Uzbekistan” in Tashkent.

The state and prospects of Uzbek-Austrian cooperation in bilateral and Uzbekistan-EU formats, as well as within the frameworks of international organisations were discussed.
