Uzbekistan accomplishes profound work on learning the heritage of great ancestors, perpetuation of their memories, and broad popularization of noble ideas put forward in their works.
In particular, the country undertakes much to thoroughly learn and research the life, creativity and activity of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur, preserve his works in their initial state, restore the rich creative heritage and take them to upcoming generations, Uzbekistan National News Agency Russian—language website reported.
In 1994 the Fan (‘Science’) Publishing House of Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan published the new poetic collection of Bobur with more poems than the previous ones.
Boburnoma is the unique masterpiece of the Uzbek and world literature and one of the encyclopedic sources. The gradual scientific research of the scientists has paved the way to publish the new edition of Boburnoma with more detailed commentaries of the words and expressions used in the book, which have not been interpreted before.
International Bobur Fund, established in 1992, is actively participating in the works on collecting the materials on life, creativity and activity of Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur and other great ancestors, searching for and taking the unique works being kept abroad back to Uzbekistan. For this purpose the Fund organized many international scientific expeditions last year. Scientific research works were held in more than 20 foreign countries. As a result, a great deal of rare manuscripts, print sources and their copies were taken back to the country.
Among them – the new completed edition of Boburnoma, its copy in the Persian language, Devan Bobura (‘Devan of Bobur’) restored by handwriting and found in Istanbul, the book about dynasty of Boburids, - Velikiy Akbar (Akbar the Great), and works Mehri Nimruz, Golibnoma, Tarixi Farishta.
Foreign scholars are increasingly manifesting the interest in the Bobur’s heritage. The fact is nothing but vivid that Boburnoma was published in over 30 languages, more than 70 museums keep valuable sources related to Bobur’s life and his descendants. Foreign specialists are reported to have held scientific research on studying Bobur along with the Uzbek scholars.
